Twitter Video Downloader.

Keep the clip, beyond the feed. Paste a public Twitter or X post link and download its video as MP4.

Public video postsMP4

Both twitter.com and x.com post links work. Public videos only.

We download available video from the original post. Private posts and content requiring account access are not supported. Save only videos you own or have permission to download.

How to download Twitter and X videos.

Free, with no extension or account needed.

1

Get the post link

Open the video’s post on X. Use Share, then Copy link. On a computer, you can also copy the full post address from the browser.

2

Find the video

Paste the link above and choose Download video. We check the post and prepare its available video files.

3

Save the MP4

Choose Save MP4 next to each ready result. The original post stays linked so you can check where the video came from.

A Twitter downloader.
An X downloader, too.

Twitter is now X, but both twitter.com and x.com post links are accepted here. FunDownloader reads a public post and downloads its available video. You do not need to install software or sign into a social account.

We choose an available MP4 version up to 1080p. Resolution and audio depend on the uploaded source. Animated GIF posts that X supplies as video can also be saved as MP4; this tool does not convert them into .gif files.

This tool handles video attached to a post. An article, photo-only post, external video link, protected account, or restricted post may have no downloadable video.

Find your saved video.

iPhone or iPad

Download in Safari, then check Downloads in the Files app. Use the file’s Share menu to save to Photos when that option is available.

Android

Tap Save MP4 and confirm the download if asked. Look in your browser’s download list or the Downloads folder in your file manager.

Windows or Mac

Save the file to a folder, or check the default Downloads folder. MP4 files open in most common video players.

A few things to know.

Twitter, X, and your downloads.

Does it work with x.com links?

Yes. Paste a full public post link from x.com or twitter.com. Mobile variants and post links ending in /video/1 are also accepted. A profile link is not a video post link.

Can I download HD Twitter videos?

We select an available MP4 version up to 1080p. You get the quality made available by the source; downloading does not improve a lower-resolution original.

Can I save a Twitter GIF?

When the post serves the animation as a video, you can save that video as MP4. The output is a video file rather than an animated .gif file.

Can I download private or restricted videos?

No. The tool uses publicly available content without an account. Protected posts, age or region restrictions, and posts requiring authentication may fail.

What are the download limits?

One post can contain up to 10 videos. Each must be shorter than 15 minutes and fit within 64 MB, with a 256 MB total limit. If one video fails, other available videos can still be downloaded.

Why is a video unavailable?

The post may have been deleted, contain no video, or be restricted. X can temporarily refuse requests. Check the original post and retry later. Ready download links expire one hour after processing finishes, or sooner after a server restart.

Where is my downloaded video on iPhone?

Look in Downloads in the Files app, then use Share to save to Photos if that option is available. If saving fails inside another app’s browser, open this page in Safari and try the post link there. Apple’s download-location guide explains where browser downloads are stored.
