A link is all you need.

Less hunting for tracks. More time listening.

1

Copy your link

Open a track or public playlist in Spotify. Choose Share, then Copy link.

Find the match

We read the title and artists, search YouTube, and compare durations to choose a match.

Save your audio

Download a track as MP3 or collect a playlist in a ZIP. You can see the selected source for every song.

A Spotify downloader,
with the source in view.

FunDownloader turns public Spotify links into an organized list of MP3 downloads. For a single song, it uses the song’s title, artists, and duration to find a corresponding YouTube video. For a playlist, it follows the same process for each track in the original order.

The MP3 contains the audio of the selected YouTube video. It may be a different release, edit, or recording from the Spotify track. Each result links to its source so you can check the match. Converting to MP3 does not improve the original audio quality.

Use the tool for audio you own or have permission to download. Private playlists, local Spotify files, albums, and artist links are not supported in this version.

A few things to know.

Before you hit play.

Does this download directly from Spotify?

No. Spotify provides metadata. We find a matching YouTube video and convert its audio to MP3. We do not extract Spotify’s protected audio streams.

Can I download a Spotify playlist?

Yes, if it is public and contains fewer than 100 tracks with a combined duration below two hours. Tracks longer than 15 minutes are unsupported. We process tracks in order and collect successful downloads into a ZIP.

What happens if one song fails?

The other songs continue. The results show which tracks failed, and the ZIP includes the tracks that succeeded. You can try a failed song separately later.

What audio quality will I get?

We use the available YouTube audio and encode it as an MP3. Quality depends on that source; an MP3 bitrate cannot restore detail missing from the original audio.

Do I need an account or an app?

No account or app is required. Use a recent browser on your phone or computer. JavaScript must be enabled for the download form.

How long do my downloads stay available?

Completed download links expire after one hour, and temporary files are removed. A server restart can also invalidate a link. Save your files once they are ready.
